Our Story

Why We Started PeckPro Cleaning

PeckPro Cleaning was founded by James Peck after hearing the same frustration over and over from neighbors and friends across West Bloomfield — a different cleaner showing up every week, surprise charges, missed appointments, and corporate call centers that never solved anything. The fix was simple: build the cleaning company we all wished existed.

We are a new company, and we are proud of that. It means every single client matters to us. We cannot afford one unhappy home, and we do not want to. A big franchise can lose your business and never notice. We notice every clean, every call, every home.

We run on one strict rule — every home gets the same cleaner on the same day, every visit. No rotating crews. No subcontractors. No corporate runaround. Every cleaner on our team is bonded, insured, and background-checked, because the people walking through your front door should be people you trust completely.

We serve homeowners, property managers, and real estate agents across West Bloomfield, Bloomfield Hills, and the surrounding Oakland County area. We answer every text and call within 5 minutes during business hours, and the owner is still the person who picks up the phone.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’M JUST GETTING BACK HOME AND THE CLEANER DID AN AMAZING JOB. HE ARRIVED 20 MINS EARLY FOR A WALK THROUGH AND TO INTRODUCE HIMSELF. I WROTE DOWN EVERYTHING I WANTED HIM TO DO. HE COMPLETED EVERYTHING I WROTE AND ALSO CLEANED OTHER THINGS THAT NEEDED CLEANING THAT I DIDNT WRITE DOWN FOR HIM TO COMPLETE. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE CAMERAS, I STILL FELT COMFORTABLE LEAVING MY HOME AND LEAVING THE CLEANER THERE ALONE FOR HRS TO COMPLETE THE TASKS BECAUSE I HAD ERRANDS TO RUN AND I NEEDED TO PICK MY SON UP FROM PRESCHOOL. EVERYTHING IS WHERE IT SHOULD BE AND MY HOME LOOKS, SMELLS AND FEELS CLEAN. I APPRECIATE THIS COMPANY VERY MUCH AT THIS TIME IN MY LIFE.

My place looks and feels so clean—it honestly made my day. You can tell they really care about their work. They were even great with my dog, Wesson, which I really appreciated. I’ll definitely be using them again and would recommend them to anyone!

Why was PeckPro Cleaning started?

We started PeckPro Cleaning because we kept hearing the same complaints from neighbors and friends across West Bloomfield about the bigger cleaning companies — rotating cleaners, surprise charges, and corporate call centers that never solved anything. Instead of waiting for someone else to fix it, we built the cleaning company we wished existed for our own homes.

Is PeckPro Cleaning really family-owned and operated?

Yes. PeckPro Cleaning is family-owned and operated, run hands-on every single day. There is no parent company, no investor group, and no franchise behind us. When you call our West Bloomfield number, you are talking directly to the owner.

PeckPro Cleaning is a new company. Why should I trust a newer cleaner?

We are new, and we are honest about that. What it means for you is simple — every single client matters, the owner answers the phone, and we cannot afford a single unhappy home. A big franchise can lose your business and never notice. We notice. Being new is exactly why the care is higher, not lower.

What does it mean that PeckPro Cleaning is bonded and insured?

Being bonded means we carry a cleaning bond that protects you financially if anything is ever damaged or missing during one of our visits. Being insured means we hold general liability insurance that covers our team and your property while we are working. Every PeckPro Cleaning visit is fully protected on both ends.

How does PeckPro Cleaning background-check the cleaning team?

Every PeckPro Cleaning team member goes through a full background check before their first day on the job. We verify identity, criminal history, and work eligibility. The person walking through your front door is someone we have personally vetted.

Why do you assign the same cleaner instead of rotating?

Because rotating cleaners is the single biggest complaint we hear from West Bloomfield homeowners who left other companies to come to PeckPro Cleaning. A consistent cleaner learns your home, your pets, your preferences, and the spots that matter most to you. The clean gets sharper and faster every visit, instead of starting from zero every time.

What is the PeckPro Cleaning satisfaction guarantee, exactly?

If you walk through your home after a clean and something is not right, we send our team back to finish the job. We do not charge you until you tell us you are happy with the work. We would rather make a clean right than collect on a job a client is not satisfied with.

What if I have already had bad experiences with other cleaners?

Most of our PeckPro Cleaning clients came to us after a frustrating experience with someone else. We hear it all the time — missed appointments, surprise charges, sloppy work, and rotating crews. We built PeckPro Cleaning specifically to fix those exact problems. Give us one clean and feel the difference for yourself.
