Is Your Plant a Fit for PeckPro?

We’re a fit when floors are the problem. Most commercial cleaning companies are set up for offices: dusting, vacuuming and trash. That’s useful work, but it doesn’t fix an oily plant floor. You’re likely a good fit if:

    • Walkways and floors around equipment stay oily or dusty between cleanings
    • Painted lines and safety markings are getting hard to see
    • Your current vendor cleans offices well but doesn’t bring floor machines
    • You need cleaning before or after shifts, not in the middle of them

    Industrial Areas We Clean

In a plant, a dirty floor is more than a looks problem. Dust, oil and debris on walkways and around equipment make floors slippery, and grime slowly covers the painted lines and safety markings people rely on to stay out of forklift paths. A mop pushes that grime around and leaves the floor wet, which is the last thing you want in a building with traffic moving through it.

PeckPro is built around floor machines. James put it plainly: auto scrubbers, burnishers and strip and wax are “the work worth putting payroll behind.” On a plant floor, the auto scrubber does the heavy lifting: it puts down cleaning solution, scrubs the concrete or coating and vacuums the dirty water back up in the same pass, so the floor is clean and dry fast. Break rooms, locker areas, restrooms and elevators get regular cleaning so the people who work there have a clean place to take a break.

Troy sits right across Dequindre Road from Sterling Heights, and much of the area’s manufacturing is on the Macomb side. We cover both Oakland and Macomb counties, so plants in Troy, Sterling Heights, Warren and the surrounding area are close to home for us.

What we don’t do: we don’t take small office buildings, homes, restaurants or event venues. If you need a specialty service we don’t offer, we’ll tell you up front instead of sending someone who isn’t set up for it.

    Plant floors

Large sealed concrete and coated floors scrubbed with auto scrubbers, which clean and pick up the water in one pass instead of leaving the floor wet.

    Walkways and aisles

Kept clear of dust, oil and debris so people and forklifts move safely, and so the floor markings your safety plan depends on stay visible.

    Break rooms and locker areas

Trash out, tables and counters wiped, floors cleaned, so the crew has a decent place to take a break.

    Restrooms and elevators

Cleaned and restocked on your schedule; in a busy plant these are used all day by every shift.

Warehouse and storage areas inside the plant

Long aisles and open floors get the same machine approach on a bigger scale.

How Getting Started With PeckPro Works

Bringing a new vendor into a plant means safety rules, sign-in procedures and shift schedules. We keep the rest simple:

    1

Call, text or send the form.

Tell us the building, the floors and your shift schedule. James or Mike answers, usually within 5 to 10 minutes. After hours, you’ll get a text with the time we’ll call back.

    2

    We walk the plant.

We look at the floor types, the traffic patterns and the areas that need extra attention, and we confirm the site safety rules our crew has to follow.

    3

    You get a quote.

Priced to your floors and your schedule, with what’s included written out. Free.

    4

    We start on your schedule.

Floor work timed to your shifts or downtime. You keep the owners’ direct number.

    Two Owners, One Number

PeckPro is run by James Peck and Mike Gracin, business partners since high school. James runs the marketing, Mike runs sales, and both of them answer the phone. In commercial cleaning, where a lot of companies route you through a franchise office or a dispatcher, that makes a difference when something needs fixing.

Our rule is simple: we answer calls and texts fast, usually within 5 to 10 minutes. If you reach us after hours, you’ll get a text back telling you exactly when we’ll call the next morning. When a plant manager calls about a missed area or a schedule change, they talk to the people who make the decision. When you call PeckPro, you should feel like you called the right place. Not sold to. Not processed. Relieved.

Cleaning That Works Around Your Shifts

In a working plant, the cleaning crew has to fit in without slowing anyone down or creating a new hazard. That shapes how we plan every visit.

Scheduled around production. Floor work is planned for before or after shifts, nights, weekends or planned downtime, when the floor can be cleaned without forklifts in the way. We’re working until 11 PM most nights.

Dry floors fast. Auto scrubbers pick up the dirty water as they go, so the floor isn’t left wet for the next shift to walk across.

Your rules, followed. We confirm your sign-in, PPE and restricted-area rules at the walk-through, and the crew follows them on every visit.

Bonded, insured and background-checked. PeckPro is bonded and insured, and our cleaners are background-checked.

What Happens During an Industrial Cleaning Visit

The routine gets set at the walk-through so it fits your building, but most visits run in this order:

    1

    Check in.

The crew signs in and follows your site safety rules before any equipment comes out.

    2

    Clear the path.

Loose debris, wrap and scrap are picked up first, so the machine doesn’t drag them across the floor.

    3

    Machine scrub.

Plant floors and walkways are scrubbed and dried in one pass, starting with the busiest traffic lanes.

    4

    Break rooms and locker areas.

Trash out, surfaces wiped, floors cleaned.

    5

    Restrooms and elevators.

    Cleaned and restocked.

    6

    Report.

Anything damaged or unsafe, like a leak, a cracked floor area or a spill we couldn’t clean, gets reported to your contact before we leave.

When a One-Time Floor Job Is Enough

Not every plant needs a full program from day one, and we’d rather tell you that than oversell you. A one-time job may be the better start when:

Your team handles daily cleaning, but the floors have built up. A one-time deep machine scrub resets them, and your people keep them up.

A customer visit or audit is coming. A deep floor job beforehand makes the building look the way you want it to look on that day.

Only one area is the problem. Shipping, a production line or the break room. We can handle that area on a schedule and leave the rest to your current setup.

You want to see the work first. Start with one area, look at the result, then decide on a schedule.

At the walk-through, we’ll tell you which one makes sense.

What Drives the Cost of Industrial Cleaning

Every plant is different, so we don’t publish a price list. These are the things that move the number most:

Square footage and floor type. Sealed concrete, coated floors and tile each need different machines, pads and chemicals.

How often. Daily, weekly or monthly floor work. More often usually means less work each visit.

Access and timing. Work during shift changes, nights or weekends, and how much of the floor is clear when we arrive.

Condition today. Heavy oil or months of buildup takes more work the first time than it takes to maintain.

Questions worth asking any vendor you’re comparing: Do you bring auto scrubbers, or mops? Who answers when there’s a problem? Are you insured? How will you work around our shifts?

We price after we see the floors, and the quote is free.
